UP, NU shoot for rebound victories

University of the Philippines and National University try to bounce back from defeats as they take on separate rivals Wednesday in the UAAP women’s volleyball at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Lady Maroons absorbed their first loss after bowing to Ateneo (25-14, 25-19, 25-21) in the weekend.

Now UP will have to deal with Far Eastern U, which is gunning for a key win that would put its Lady Tams in a tie with the Lady Maroons.

The Lady Bulldogs are on a two-game losing streak despite the presence of some of the most talented players in the league like Jaja Santiago, Jorelle Singh and Risa Sato.
