Ravena joins Alab-PH five
Unable to get a solid run going in the 2017 Asean Basketball League, Alab Pilipinas has signed up former two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player Kiefer Ravena to shore up its backcourt for the remainder of the season.
But the 5-foot-11 Ravena’s debut would have to wait as he is still recuperating from a hand injury he sustained while playing in the Dubai International Tournament last week.
Article continues after this advertisementRavena told the Inquirer he is hoping to play for Alab in the ABL playoffs as he still has to finish his stint with the Texas Legends in the NBA D-League.
“I’m joining the team in the playoffs and after the D-League in the US,” said Ravena, who is flying back to the United States on March 12.
