San Miguel forward Arwind Santos doused whatever feud he had with Ginebra rookie Kevin Ferrer following their heated exchanges in Game 3 of the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

“I just smiled at him earlier. I don’t have anymore comments regarding him and our previous encounter,” said Santos Friday after the Beermen’s 94-85 win over the Gin Kings in Game 4 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

FEATURED STORIES

Santos and Ferrer were suddenly the focus of the crowd’s attention after the two talked trash against each other in Game 4 when the first year forward clapped in the face of the 2013 MVP.

That caused Santos to say a few words at Ferrer, with the 11-year veteran telling the rookie, “what have you proven in this league?”

The two also had their moments in the fourth quarter of Game 4 when Santos, who was about to land out of bounds, threw the ball at Ferrer hoping it would bounce off the court.

The ball, though, hit Ferrer in the head and the Ginebra forward was able to recover possession to go up for a shot and which Santos immediately blocked.

“I just thank God and the fans of San Miguel for our win.”
