The Philippines and China renewed its cooperation in sports that could go as far as building a multibillion-peso training center for Filipinos.

Philippine Sports Institute national training director Marc Velasco revealed Monday that the memorandum of understanding signed by Philippine Sports Commission Chair Butch Ramirez and Chinese sports minister Gou Zhongwen.

Velasco said the possible collaboration is using as template China and Burma’s (Myanmar) partnership during the 2013 Southeast Asian Games.
