Chris Greatwich rejoins Azkals for Galaxy
MANILA, Philippines—Midfielder Chris Greatwich, one of the vital cogs in the Philippine Azkals’ historic run to the Suzuki Cup semifinals last year, will make his return to the national side when it faces the Los Angeles Galaxy in an exhibition match on Dec. 3 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium
The 28-year-old Greatwich, who scored goals against Singapore and Vietnam in the Suzuki Cup, will be playing for the Azkals for the first time since last December when they lost to Indonesia in the semifinals.
Greatwich missed the Azkals campaigns in the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers and the World Cup Qualifiers because of his coaching commitments in the United States.
