Lady Bulldogs still lack the edge, admits Santiago
National University may be on a two-game winning streak, but captain Jaja Santiago knows the Lady Bulldogs have yet to recover from their recent skid in the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.

NU now sits at third with a 5-3 record, but Santiago said they did not play their best game en route to their slate.

La Salle, despite losing its first round finale against Ateneo, is the second-best team in the tournament with a 6-2 slate and is still considered to repeat as champions.

“The good thing that happened today was we learned how to execute correctly what our coaches have been teaching us and at the same time improve on the other aspects of the game,” said Santiago.
