Indian S.S.P. Chawrasia scored a final round one-under-par 71 Sunday to handily retain the Hero Indian Challenge crown at DLF Golf & Country Club in New Delhi.
Counting earlier rounds of 72-67-68, Chawrasia tallied a 278 total, seven shots ahead of American Gavin Green, who fired a 75 for a 285 aggregate.
The three Filipinos—Angelo Que, Tony Lascuña, Miguel Tabuena—were too far behind to challenge.
Que, pulled down by a bogey-bogey windup, carded a 74 for a 294 total, good for a share of 29th to 33rd places.
Lascuña fired a second straight 73 after a pair of 75s for a 296 aggregate while Tabuena tallied a 72 and wound up at 300. —ROY LUARCA
