Father and son champion drivers Carlos and Iñigo Anton led the honorees of the recent 31st Kafagway Sports International Luminary Awards in Baguio City.
The Antons were joined by One Fighting Championship world lightweight champion Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang, and Divine Wally, gold medalist in the Asian Wushu Championships.
Carlos Anton and partner Milo Rivera ruled the Asia Zone Gymkhana Championships in Taiwan last September.
The younger Anton topped the overall National Cadet Expert Karting Championship and was third placer in the 2016 Asian Karting Open Championship.
The annual Kafagway awards fete outstanding athletes from Baguio City and the Cordilleras. —STEVE SILVA
