Ramsay rues missed goal
BACOLOD CITY—Up until early Thursday, Ceres-Negros winger Iain Ramsay still can’t seem to shake off the golden opportunity he missed hours earlier.
He wasn’t sure if he did make contact with Fernando Rodriguez’s pass too early or if he was just a tad late in meeting the low cross from inside the six-yard box in the 74th minute.
Just the same, Ramsay’s bungled chance characterized a subdued night for the Busmen, who were held to a goalless draw by Felda United of Malaysia in their Group G clash in the AFC Cup at Panaad Stadium here.

Ceres remained on top of Group G with five points, barely ahead of Vietnamese side Hanoi, on goal difference.
Victory at home would have given the Busmen the cushion they needed with two of their three matches in the second round to be played away from home.
