WATCH: 40-year-old Vince Carter can still pull off between-the-legs dunk

No man at 40 years old should be able to perform a dunk, let alone pull off an aerial trick. However, Vince Carter is still “half-man half amazing.”

The Memphis Grizzlies swingman, who just turned forty two months ago, casually threw down a between-the-legs dunk during a Grizzlies practice on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).

As seen in a clip uploaded by the team on Twitter, Carter first sank a half court shot, followed by his amazing display of pure athleticism.

At his prime, Carter was regarded as one of the best dunkers of all time, highlighted by his iconic performance in the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest—where he captivated audiences with the same gravity defying slam.

Now in his 19th season, the 8-time NBA All-Star  does not have the same spring in his jump like he used to, but has been turning back the clock with highlight plays every once in a while.

Carter remains to produce solid numbers for his team, averaging 7.9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, while shooting 37 percent from downtown for the playoff-bound Grizzlies. JB
