After tweaking her left knee in a scary moment Thursday night, Dindin Santiago-Manabat is still dealing with some swelling making her unable to undergo an MRI yet.
“I still can’t walk properly because it’s still swollen and painful, but I’m okay,” Manabat told INQUIRER.net in a text message Friday.
An MRI would confirm the extent of Manabat’s injury, which was initially ruled as a strain.
Santiago suffered the injury in the fifth set of the Tornadoes’ game against Sta. Lucia in the Philippine Super Liga Invitational Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Manabat, though, was able to walk out of the San Juan Arena after the game.
The 6-foot-2 middle blocker finished with 20 points in the Foton’s 25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11 win.
