Star dominated GlobalPort, 103-77, Saturday in a road game at Tubod, Lanao del Norte to stay unscathed in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Despite the return of the Batang Pier’s top star Terrence Romeo, the Hotshots still found a way to take over in the second half to win their second assignment so far.

Star recovered from a 15-point opening quarter by going on a 63-point rampage led by import Tony Mitchell in the next two periods to build a comfortable lead heading into the last 12 minutes.

Mitchell had 22 points and 17 boards to pace the Hotshots but also got ample help with rookie Jio Jalalon chipping in 15 points and six rebounds.
