PSC orders P100M worth of athletes’ equipment
BAGUIO CITY—The Philippine Sports Commission has ordered P100 million worth of equipment from Europe and United States to set up its Sports Science and Medical Center (SSMC).
PSC chair Butch Ramirez on Wednesday said the SSMC will be built inside the Philsports that will fulfill the medical requirement of our elite athletes.
“Soon we don’t have to go to St. Luke’s, because we will have our own,” said Ramirez during the last stop of the PSC Caravan on physical fitness and sports development.
The high performance equipment, according to the PSC chief, include “kineseology machines, chemo dynamic machines” which are being used by Australian and American athletes.
