Exciting times for FEU in tight Final Four race
Far Eastern University senior Bernadeth Pons said the Lady Tamaraws should not be rattled as they contend for a spot in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.
The Lady Tamaraws’ three-set victory over National University, 25-21, 25-21, 25-22, put them at a 7-6 slate and gave them the fifth seed in a tight race for the third and fourth spots in the semifinals.

FEU’s final match will be against University of the Philippines, which is also vying for a spot in the Final Four.
UP and University of Santo Tomas, as of writing time, still hold the third and fourth seeds, respectively.
“We shouldn’t let the pressure get into our heads, and as long as we follow our coaches we will be fine,” said Pons.
