Consistency is key, and for Robert Bolick, it was his ticket in helping Cignal-San Beda inch closer to the promised land.

The 21-year-old guard carried the Hawkeyes all conference long, towing the squad to the Finals and on Monday, his efforts were rewarded with a Conference Most Valuable Player award in the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup on Monday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The San Beda guard averaged 12.2 points on 50 percent shooting from the field, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 steals to provide the stability for Cignal.

Bolick’s greatness further showed in Game 1, as he took charge for the Hawkeyes, pouring in eight of his 19 points in the fourth quarter in a 93-85 win over Racal.

He also had six assists and five rebounds in the win.

Bolick and the rest of Cignal can snare the title with a Game 2 victory over the Tile Masters.
