Tayao impresses in Bulacan race

Gabe Tayao made a good account of himself in his initial foray in autocross where he was one of the youngest competitors in the Philippine Autocross Championship Series held recently at Meycauayan Commercial Complex in Bulacan.

The 17-year-old, the country’s top karter in 2015 and the first Filipino to win in Formula 4 South East Asia last year, placed second in the Novice Modified C class and third in the GT86 division.

The multiawarded racer also wound up fourth in RWD.

“I’m happy with my performance considering there were hundreds of seasoned drivers competing,” said Tayao.
