Jonathan Tiu and other top contenders aim to strengthen their title bids when they banner the third leg of the 2017 National Drag Racing Championships Southern Series at Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario this Saturday.
Defending champion Tiu guns for his second consecutive triumph in his favorite Quick 8 class against the likes of closest title rival Vanni Garcia and teammate Jonathan Young.
Other aspirants to the coveted Drag Racing Driver of the Year award are Allan Ararao, Ryan Quimpo and Rommel Dural. —STEVE SILVA
