Jenel Lausa fell short in his first UFC pay-per-view card losing via unanimous decision against Magomed Bibulatov in the undercard of UFC 210 Sunday morning (Manila time) at Keybank Center in New York.

This was Lausa’s second fight in the UFC after he made his debut against Zhikui Yao in UFC Fight Night 101 and taking a unanimous decision victory.

Bibulatov, however, spoiled Lausa’s entry to the pay-per-view scene with the Russian flyweight controlling the majority of the match to come earn three 29-26 scorecards from the judges.

“I feel great,” said Bibulatov (14-0) who made his UFC debut. “The first fight in a new promotion is always hard. It was a little bit challenging to concentrate, but it turned out well so I’m happy with the result..”

Bibulatov mixed it up against Lausa who had a hard time adjusting to the former’s constant striking.

Lausa managed to escape Bibulatov’s ground striking in the third round and establish a momentary mount but it was all too late for the Filipino who slipped to 7-3.
