TNT finding ways to win despite struggles
As bad as TNT is playing the past couple of games, Jayson Castro expressed no concerns as long as the team is pulling out wins.
“A win is a win,” Castro said.

With Castro creating plays late, Ranidel de Ocampo and Roger Pogoy strung up an 8-1 tear. Pogoy also had a key defensive stop to avert the upset and secure the victory for TNT.
Article continues after this advertisementTNT coach Nash Racela said the players shouldn’t be content with the way they are playing, lamenting that they need to improve their game if they want to compete with the other top teams in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
“That’s something that we are starting to learn, that despite out struggles, we’re still getting a win. Today was an example of that,” he said.
Castro also echoed Racela, saying that TNT has to double-down on the little things for the squad to perform at par with fellow league leaders.
“We need to look at our game and find a way to play better. We need to focus more on defense, have a better communication because every time our opponents get a shot, we really struggle on getting back to our game,” he said. “We also have to make our open shots. I hope next game, we could make them.”
TNT takes a 12-day break before going up against GlobalPort on April 21.
