Apparently, Jaja Santiago’s future with National University is up in the air.

Following the Lady Bulldogs elimination from the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament, Santiago said she’s still unsure whether she’ll return to NU or play professionally.

“I’m still undecided if I’ll play next season,” Santiago said after NU lost to University of Santo Tomas in five sets, 20-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-12, Saturday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Santiago, who has one year left in her collegiate playing career, has had a respectable career with NU where she won the Season 76 Rookie of the Year award and became a two-time Best Attacker.

It wasn’t just in the collegiate ranks that Santiago proved her mettle, though, as she is the reigning MVP in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix with Foton.
