The future literally just got a whole lot bigger for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Last year’s NBA top pick Ben Simmons has yet to set foot on the NBA hardwood after suffering a Jones fracture in his right foot in training camp.

Apart from working on his game to prepare for next season, the 20-year-old Aussie reportedly hit yet another growth spurt.

The crafty point-forward from Louisiana State University, who was last measured at 6’10, has grown two more inches and is now “just under” 7 feet, according to Bleacher Report.

Jon Johnson, who works closely with the Sixers as a sports radio reporter for WIP-FM, also noticed Simmons’ height boost.

The Milwaukee Bucks’ breakout superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo also experienced a similar spurt a few years back, growing from 6’9 to 6’11 since being drafted in 2013.

Simmons, meanwhile, is expected to join the Sixers’ talented crop of promising players next year, including this year’s rookie standouts Joel Embiid and Dario Saric, along with the team’s potential lottery pick this coming draft.

The team’s head coach Brett Brown also confirmed earlier that he’ll start Simmons at the point guard position upon his debut. Khristian Ibarrola/JB
