Aldrech Ramos suffered a suspected nasal fracture late in the first quarter of Star’s game against San Miguel on Sunday.

The 6-foot-6 forward tried to draw a foul against a driving Beermen import Charles Rhodes, but got hit with an elbow on his nose as he was left shaken after the incident.

Team physical therapists immediately iced the 29-year-old’s face before subbing him out at the 1:18 mark of the first quarter.

He was then rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, together with PT RC Cua.

Ramos’ absence further dents on the Hotshots’ frontline, which is already missing Marc Pingris due to a hip injury.

San Miguel defeated Star, 105-97.
