LOOK: PHLPost honors PH Olympic medalists with special stamps

Philippine Postal Corporation has launched a special line of stamps commemorating the athletes who have brought pride to the country with silver medals in the Olympics.

Special stamps featuring 2016 Rio Olympics weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, 1996 Atlanta Olympics boxer Onyok Velasco and 1964 Tokyo Olympics fighter Anthony Villanueva are available at P12 each.

Diaz, who broke the country’s medal drought in the Summer Games, attended the launch Thursday at PHLPost’s Main Lobby in Manila.

The stamps are in celebration of the 25th corporate anniversary of PHLPost and the staging of Palarong Pambansa, an annual country-wide multisport event.
