WATCH: Bucks introduce Raptors players with ‘Barney’ theme song
The Toronto Raptors’ playoff struggles remain an open secret to most basketball fans. On Thursday (Friday in Manila), the Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t help but throw some shade on their first-round opponents.
Ahead of the Bucks’ home playoff opener, the games ops crew at the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center introduced the visiting players to the tune of “Barney & Friends” theme song playing in the background.
Article continues after this advertisementDue to the team’s penchant for dominating the regular season—and somehow losing that edge come playoff time—the Raptors’ intimidating dinosaur logo is often times haunted by comparisons to the popular ’90s children’s show mascot—the cuddly, purple-and-green tyrannosaurus rex, Barney.
