Morado praises Palma: ‘She had the biggest heart today’

Remy Palma has the reputation not only as one fine middle blocker, but also as an even better person.

And on Sunday Palma has found a new admirer.

After Ateneo ended Palma’s UAAP career in the Final Four of Season 79, Jia Morado took some time to praise FEU’s skipper.

“If there’s a person who has the biggest heart in today’s game, it has to be Remy,” said Morado after Ateneo’s four-set win, 25-22, 25-10, 16-5, 26-24, ay Mall of Asia Arena.

Palma put on a spirited effort in her final collegiate game with 12 points, including three service aces.

And that performance didn’t go unnoticed.

Even Palma’s tears after the game transcended teams.

“You can just see how Palma poured her heart out in the game, and I actually felt her emotions when she cried,” said Morado.
