Justin Brownlee carried Ginebra anew as it ended TNT’s five-game winning streak with a 107-89 blowout Sunday in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The returning reinforcement unfurled 34 points and 15 rebounds as the Gin Kings fired on all cylinders in the second half to stretch their own winning streak to four and improve to 4-1.

Picking up the pace, Ginebra crawled its way back from a 58-49 deficit in the second quarter to zoom ahead, 80-69, with a Mark Caguioa layup at the 1:13 mark of the third frame.

The crowd favorites continued to pounce in the fourth quarter, lighting it up from downtown as Tenorio drained 11 points in the period before Sol Mercado and Brownlee punctuated the win with a pair of booming treys to establish the 107-85 lead in the final 1:51.
