A prominent figure is set to come back in the local volleyball landscape.

Jeng Bualee, the most decorated Thai reinforcement in Philippine volleyball history, is set to join Bali Pure in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.

Bualee’s inclusion in the Bali Pure lineup immediately made the Water Defenders, as if they still weren’t, a legitimate threat to the championship.

Bali Pure will take on Philippine Air Force in the league’s opener on Sunday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

Veteran head coach Roger Gorayeb is tasked with the responsibility of handling a Bali Pure roster that includes Grethcel Soltones, National University stars Risa Sato, Jorelle Singh, Aiko Urdas, and Jasmine Nabor.

Alyssa Eroa and Lizless Ann Pantone are the Water Defenders liberos.
