Now we all know where Floyd Mayweather Jr. gets his seemingly endless bravado.

Talks between a rumored crossover bout between the boxing superstar and UFC’s Conor McGregor has continued to be a far-fetched dream for fight fans.

With the monumental match-up becoming highly unlikely as time passes, Mayweather’s father Floyd Sr. has decided to light a fire anew by lambasting the Irish lightweight champion.

The retired boxer-turned-trainer, as per MMAFighting, questioned the equally brash McGregor’s boxing skills and even suggested that he wouldn’t fare any better against a man his age.

“He (McGregor) ain’t nothing but talk! I told them people on the TV already, forget about Floyd. Let’s throw Floyd to the side,” the elder Mayweather said.

“Here I am, I’m a 64-year-old man and I’ll beat your as*. I’ll beat the s**t out of McGregor! Anytime he wants it, let’s go,” he boldly proclaimed.

Before switching the boxing gloves for a pair of training mitts, Mayweather Sr. amassed a professional record of  28 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw.

At the peak of his career, he even shared the ring with all-time great Sugar Ray Leonard.

Meanwhile, the father and son’s tumultuous relationship has been well documented by sports media outlets through the years.

The enigmatic pair, however, reportedly patched things up in 2013, and Floyd Sr. has been vocal about training his son if the crossover match ever materializes.

Still, the Mayweather patriarch continued to downplay any skills that his son’s counterpart possesses.

“I’m telling you right now, he (McGregor) can do all the stuff he want to do but this guy don’t know nothing about how to get your body right and the amount of time and everything you’ve got to do, he don’t know nothing about that,” he said.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
