MANILA, Philippines — Juan Manuel Marquez tried to connect with a combination to the body but Manny Pacquiao eluded him.

Towards the end of the round, Pacquiao’s right landed in Marquez’s face but was able to counter-punch, which the Filipino champion has been trying to check.
