Pocari crushes Perlas gals
Back-to-back champion Pocari Sweat is back in the groove.
The Lady Warriors crushed the Perlas Spikers, 25-19, 25-19, 25-19, Tuesday in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Leaning on their big guns led by Elaine Kasilag, Jeannette Panaga and Myla Pablo, the Lady Warriors took control of the entire match, imposing their firepower against the flustered Perlas side.
It was Pocari’s second straight win after suffering a 0-2 start in the tournament. But Kasilag said the Lady Warriors have now gained footing.
“When we lost the first two matches, it’s because we had poor service receives; that’s why we worked very hard on that department,” said Kasilag, who accounted for 12 points, in Filipino.
