Pocari Sweat raced to its fourth straight win in the Premier Volleyball League after disposing of the Power Smashers in straigt sets, 25-21, 25-20, 25-16, Saturday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Myla Pablo and Ellaine Kasilag combine for 30 points for the Lady Warriors, who improved to a 4-2 card.

Despite the quick victory, Pocari head coach Rommel Abella was not at all pleased with how his team handled things especially with the Power Smashers missing the services of Arellano University trio Jovelyn Prado, Refine Arocha, and Andrea Marzan, who are in Baguio for an intercollegiate tournament.

“I’m not happy, although we won, we’re not fully satisfied with how the team played,” said Abella. “Before the game, I told my team that we know our style and that we should never be dragged into the other team’s pace.”

“We should learn how to pad our lead, unfortunately it was only in the third period that we were able to do it.”

Dimdim Pacres carried the offensive load for the Power Smashers (3-3) with 10 points.
