POC eyes c. luzon as seag hub
Philippine Olympic Committee president Jose Cojuangco Jr. is looking at Central Luzon as the hub of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
Cojuangco said sports facilities in Bulacan, Pampanga, Subic and Zambales could hold majority of the Games that the Philippines would host two years from now if the Davao region is unavailable.
Even when President Duterte was still Davao City mayor, Cojuangco said he was already eyeing the area as the center of activity, alongside the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex in Tagum City, as hub of the 11-nation competition.
