#DIY will now go on their separate ways.

Tommaso Ciampa turned against his partner Johnny Gargano after he attacked him to conclude NXT TakeOver: Chicago Sunday (Manila time).

The former titlists failed to reclaim the NXT Tag Team Championship from the Authors of Pain in their ladder match main event. Akam and Rezar caught the two hanging from the belts, taking advantage and nailing the Super Collider to down their foes and capture the belts.

Frustrated with the repeated failure, Ciampa reached his boiling point and snapped, throwing Gargano to the stage set before dropping his partner from the announce table to the floor.

In other matches, Bobby Roode successfully defended his NXT Championship, hitting Hideo Itami with a pair of Glorious DDTs to nab the three-count.

Asuka extended her reign as the NXT Women’s Champion, pinning both Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross to maintain her unbeaten run.

Riot took out Cross with a Pele Kick, but Asuka came just in time to break up the pin with a sliding kick to the face of Riot before covering her challengers for the victory.

Pete Dunne became the new WWE United Kingdom Champion, dethroning Tyler Bate with the Bitter End to close a classic duel between the two British stars.

Roderick Strong also fended off the rest of SAnitY to beat Eric Young with a backbreaker in the curtain-raiser.
