Pocari import Edina Selimovic scores on a tip over BaliPure’s counterparts Jennifer Keddy (8) and Jeng Baulee (7) during their Premier Volleyball League clash.

Pocari Sweat’s bid for an outright semis berth is facing a minor bump.

Guest player Edina Selimovic tore her right hamstring, ruling her out for the rest of the 2017 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.

Lady Warriors team manager Eric Ty confirmed the news with the team now on the lookout for its next import.

Selimovic, 25, averaged 23 attack points in the two games she played for Pocari Sweat.

Ty said that the Bosnian middle blocker has already been playing through the hamstring injury she incurred back in April, but aggravated it when she finally saw action for the Lady Warriors.

Pocari Sweat is at second place with a 6-3 record, with the squad needing a victory over Air Force on Thursday to guarantee a seat in the Final Four.
