Air Force upsets Pocari to break seven-game skid
Philippine Air Force has gotten out of turbulent winds and managed to score an upset win over Pocari Sweat in five sets, 25-19, 24-26, 25-27, 25-21, 15-6, in the Premier Volleyball League Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Lady Warriors, who slipped to 6-4, played without the injured Myla Pablo and Edina Selimovic.

“I just told my team to continue what we’ve been doing in practice because we’ve been losing all our games lately,” said PAF head coach Jasper Jimenez.
PAF relied on its two-pronged offense of Patcharee Saengmuang and skipper Joy Cases, who had 27 and 21 points, respectively while also getting ample support from Jocemer Tapic and Iari Yongco who combined for 23 points.
