Willie Miller isn’t closing his doors on a possible return to the PBA where he was named MVP twice and won four championships.

Miller, the 15-year veteran, said he could make a comeback given the team he would play for is inclined to winning a championship.

“If there is a decent team out there that needs my help and wants to win a championship,” Miller told INQUIRER.net in Filipino during the Red Bull Reign Philippines 3-on-3 tournament finals on Saturday.

“That team should really want to win,” he stressed.

The 39-year-old Miller last saw action in the PBA as part of TNT in 2015 where he was signed at the beginning of the Commissioner’s Cup for the rest of the season.

He played in 17 games during that stint and averaged 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.5 minutes.

The crafty guard suited up in the Asean Basketball League for the woeful Pilipinas MX3 Kings after that and has been competing in several tournaments since including a 1-on-1 tournament last year.

Miller also said he is focused on spending some of his time imparting his basketball knowledge and experience to kids.

“I want to share my experiences to our future basketball players and teach these kids how to play the right way. It’s also my way of helping improve basketball more in the country.”
