Some 300 children aged 6 to 14 years will compete ahead of the Regent 5150 Triathlon in the Alaska Ironkids Aquathlon on June 3 at WOW Recreation Center in Subic Bay.
The top finishers in the Ironkids Aquathlon I at Manila Polo Club in Makati last April will lead the race, including 13-14 years champions Wacky Baniqued and Emmanuelle Joves.
The third Regent 5150 Triathlon, with Australia’s Sam Betten eyeing a record three-peat in the men’s pro side, will be held the following day. —VANESSA B. HIDALGO
