TOTAL Excellium fuels the Toyota Vios Cup

MANILA, Philippines – TOTAL Excellium helped drivers bring to life the spirit of Waku-Doki (“heart racing fun” in Japanese) at the first leg of the Toyota Vios Cup. Held at Clark International Speedway in Pampanga, the weekend races kicked off the exciting season.

Sixty nine participants, including return celebrity drivers Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Fabio Ide, came to test their skills and beat their times on the track. Joining the roster of seasoned drivers were first timers Aubrey Miles, Gretchen Ho, Ella Cruz, and Dominic Roque.

This year, all participants felt the thrill of the new challenge as TOTAL Excellium and Toyota promised to deliver a more exciting season as part of Toyota’s global motorsports activites. Now officially being under Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), Toyota’s special motorsports division, the Vios Cup raised the stakes, with TOTAL Excellium also rising to the occasion, elevating the drivers’ experience with its expertise and renowned flagship fuel, TOTAL Excellium.

In the Celebrity Class Round 1 Race, Fabio Ide enjoyed a smooth finish at the No.1 spot, followed by Jasmine Curtis Smith (Second Place) and Dominic Roque (Third Place). In Round 2, the spots were turned as Roque finished first, followed by Smith (Second Place) and Ide (Third Place).

In the ROTA Promotional Class Division Race 1, Don Vic Portugal came in first, followed by Evelyn Coseteng (Second Place) and Arbie Jacinto (Third). In Round 2, Jacinto secured a finish again at Third Place, after Roy Bunag (Second Place) and Red Diwa (First Place).

In the Bridgestone Sporting Class Division, Tonton Ramos snagged the top spot in Race 1, followed by Paul Lomax (Second Place) and Mark Sy (Third Place). In Round 2, Lord Seno (First Place) was followed by Sean Velasco and Paul Henderson Perez, respectively.

Daniel Miranda dominated the TOTAL Excellium Super Sporting Class Divsion Round 1,while Allan Uy came to a close second along with Gerard Loy (Third Place). In Round 2, Miranda continued to hold on to the top spot, along with Uy (Second Place) and Andres Calma (Third Place).
