Star withstood Alaska in an overtime thriller and came away with a 102-98 win in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Wednesday at Cuneta Astrodome.
The Hotshots claimed top seed with a 9-2 card while the Aces finished eighth with a 4-7 record after a miserable seven-game skid.
Ricardo Ratliffe carried the Hotshots 35 points, 28 rebounds and five blocks while Paul Lee added 18 points including a big triple to give them a 97-93 lead in OT.
