D-League: Ragasa cleared of any serious injuries after bad fall
Batangas guard John Ragasa escaped any major injuries following his spinal x-ray on Tuesday.
Coach Eric Gonzales provided details on his bearded playmaker after his collision with Wangs Basketball swingman Robbie Herndon in the fourth quarter.
Article continues after this advertisement“He is good. As per the x-ray, there are no anomalies found and according to the test, he’s negative to any complications. He was cleared by the doctors to go home and get some rest,” the mentor said in a short text message.

Ragasa suffered whiplash after getting elbowed to the jaw by Herndon at the 4:57 mark of the fourth quarter. He banged his head on the court and was left dazed as he struggled to get on his feet.
Article continues after this advertisementThe 25-year-old was immediately taken back to the team’s dugout, where medics fitted him with a neck brace before being rushed to the Medical City in Pasig.
Curiously, Ragasa and Herndon were teammates last conference with Victoria Sports-MLQU.
Despite missing Ragasa, Batangas held on to its 81-79 victory to stay unbeaten in the 2017 PBA D-League Foundation Cup.
