John David Velez and nine other regional age-group tennis campaigners are going on a three-month scholarship program at Macs Crankit Tennis Academy in Australia.
Velez, one of the rising stars from Davao, will be joined by Iloilo’s Marben Mosquera, Gen. Santos City’s Klyde Lagarde, Koronadal City’s Janus Ringia, Sultan Kudarat’s April Minette Bentillo, Zamboanga’s Sydney Ezra Enriquez, Bacolod’s Alexa Milliam, Kiana de Asis and Tracy Llamas, and Cebu’s Elsie Abarquez. —VANESSA B.
