San Beda remained spotless in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup with Jose Rizal University becoming its latest victim, 73-57, in the group stages Wednesday at yhe tournament’s namesake arena in San Juan.

The Red Lions are at a perfect 7-0 to stay atop Group A while the Heavy Bombers, who are also on their way to the quarterfinals, are at 5-3.

Despite the win, Red Lions head coach Boyet Fernandez wants more focus from his team.

“We still have much to learn in terms of execution because there are times when the players veer away from the system,” said Fernandez. “Well it’s human nature to always look for scoring opportunities, but I’m looking at the score of the other team.”
