Kobe Paras stars for PH in Day 2 of Fiba 3×3 World Cup

Kobe Paras put on a show in his first two games for the Philippines in the 2017 Fiba 3×3 World Cup in Nantes, France.

The 19-year-old Paras, one of the youngest players in the tournament, but showed he can hang with the big boys.

The 6-foot-6 Paras led the 18th seed Philippines to a 21-15 upset of No. 7 Romania in the opening game with 12 points, most of which came during a 9-2 run inside the last two minutes.

Paras flashed a complete offensive game and had several highlights as well, including a pair of nifty behind the back moves on his way to the bucket.

The versatile forward, however, was slowed down by France in the second game where he only scored three points. The Philippines lost, 22-11.

Paras, along with teammates Kiefer Ravena, JR Quiñahan and Jeron Teng hope to bounce back against No. 2 Slovenia early Wednesday morning.
