Cignal destroys Racal five
Cignal HD rolled to a fifth victory in the PBA D-League, but it wasn’t the kind of win coach Boyet Fernandez wanted.
Nearly blowing early 20-point leads, the Hawkeyes held off Racal Motor’s late run for a 93-75 victory in the Foundation Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig Tuesday.
“I’m happy we won [but] still, I really hate the way we played in the third quarter,” said Fernandez. “It seemed like we didn’t know how to play basketball. We gave up so many points, we gave up so many turnovers.”
