Patrick dela Rosa sets out to post a repeat over defending champion Edwin Rodriguez when the second leg of the 2017 Yokohama Philippine Grand Touring Car Championships fires off tomorrow at Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.
Dela Rosa stepped out of the shadows of his brother Richmon when he swept the Sprint and the GT Final races over Rodriguez to clinch the GT200 crown.
Eduardo Suiza and newcomer Paolo Santos, the kickoff leg winners of the GT150 and GT100 events, are also expected to shine anew in the series sponsored by Tokohama and Sparco which will hold its maiden PGT Super Sport races. —STEVE SILVA, CONTRIBUTOR
