PBA slaps 30k fine on Pogoy after groin shot

The PBA has fined TNT shooting guard Roger Pogoy a sum of P30,000 after hitting San Miguel forward Arwind Santos in the groin in Game 2 of the Commissioner’s Cup Finals Friday.

Game officials called a flagrant foul penalty 2 on Pogoy, leading to his ejection in the third quarter.

San Miguel took a convincing 102-88 victory in Game 2 to tie the series up at 1-1.

Pogoy, after scoring 27 points in Game 1, left the game with just one block under his name.
