Wangs thwarts Racal, off to best D-League start
Wangs Basketball is off to its finest PBA D-League start after pulling off a 93-84 victory over Racal Motors Monday in the 2017 Foundation Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Chris Bitoon dropped 13 of his 22 points in the second half while Robbie Herndon had a double-double of 17 points and 13 boards to steer the Couriers to back-to-back wins and a franchise-best 3-2 slate.
Michole Sorela also poured in 10 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter, when Wangs started to pull away.

With Wangs holding on to a 70-68 lead with 8:09 left in the payoff period, Sorela strung eight straight points to spearhead an 11-4 blast that increased their lead to 81-72 and put away the Alibaba for good.
Lucas is hopeful that this stretch of victories will continue as the Couriers eye a spot in the quarterfinals.
