Cordilleras next stop of PSC games

After serving as an instrument of peace in Mindanao, the Children’s Games of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will bring its act to the Cordilleras.

The Games will set up camp in La Trinidad, Benguet, on July 11 to 13 with nearly a thousand kids 12 years old and below participating.

According to PSC Chair Butch Ramirez, getting children into sports early would prepare them for bigger tournaments like the Batang Pinoy Games, Palarong Pambansa, Philippine National Games and eventually, for international meets as national team players.

“We also want to mold children as well-rounded future leaders,” said Ramirez. “This is the real gold medal that we should be aiming for.”
