LaVar Ball almost didn’t stay in his lane.
The controversial father of incoming NBA rookie Lonzo showed up at Miz TV at WWE Raw on Monday (Tuesday Manila time) in Los Angeles.
With sons LaMelo and Lonzo joining him, the Balls promoted their Big Baller Brand and announced a partnership with a WWE superstar.
However, when LaVar said that the partnership isn’t with The Miz, the Intercontinental Champion grilled the family on how many championships they’ve already won.
When The A-Lister raised that UCLA, Lonzo’s alma mater and future school of the other Ball children, didn’t win the 2017 NCAA Tournament, that was when LaVar blew his gasket and jawed at The Miz.
“There’s only two dudes who are better than me, and I’m both of them!,” shouted LaVar.
The Miz, seemingly challenging LaVar to a fight, took off his coat, that led to the Ball patriarch to take off his shirt as the two seemed poised to trade blows.
Fortunately, Dean Ambrose came out and said that he was the one joining the Big Baller Brand as he stormed the ring to the aid of the Balls.
The Miz and his entourage of Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas topped Ambrose, Rhyno and Heath Slater in the ensuing six-man tag team match.
It was the first public appearance for Lonzo inside the Staples Center since being drafted second by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft.
