Professional fighters have to endure a certain amount of stress before each bout and, on top of that, stay focused on their opponent.

Now imagine balancing all that with an uncooperative gastrointestinal system.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Strawweight Justine Kish experienced quite a fecal episode during her match with Felice Herrig during UFC Fight Night 112 over the weekend.

With only 12 seconds remaining in their bout, the 29-year-old Russian-American fighter had to fend off an extremely tight choke to avoid being submitted.

According to MMAJunkie, Kish was within seconds of losing consciousness but managed to squeeze out of the dangerous position.

However, viewers were appalled to see several brown stains on the mat as she made her escape. Kish ultimately lost the fight by unanimous decision.

Shortly after her messy episode, Kish took to Twitter to address her unusual case.

Although she did not admit or deny outright her pooping accident, she seemed to take it in stride.

“I am a warrior, and I will never quit #Sh*tHappens haha be back soon,” she wrote.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
